Scheiner Recognized as Top 50 Economic Developer in North America

CONROE, TEXAS (September 10, 2018) – Conroe Economic Development Council Executive Director, Danielle Scheiner, has been recognized as one of North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers by Consultant Connect. Scheiner was nominated by her colleagues, in both the economic development industry and the site consultant community, for excellent economic development practices, innovation and success in building the Conroe community.

“This annual list recognizing North America’s Top 50 Economic Developers is designed to acknowledge the hard work of the top leaders in this field and elevate the conversation around economic development and job creation,” said Ron Kitchens, managing partner of Consultant Connect. “Each of the leaders represented on this year’s list are beyond deserving of this recognition for their efforts in building our communities.”

Scheiner will be featured on Consultant Connect’s social media channels on November 15, where she will share leadership insights and her expertise in the field. Scheiner will receive her award at Consultant Connect’s ECONOMIX event in Nashville in December.

Scheiner joined the Conroe EDC as Deputy Director in January 2013 and was promoted to Executive Director in February 2018. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University, the Economic Development Institute (EDI) at the University of Oklahoma, and the Community Development Institute (CDI) through the Southern Economic Development Council.

Scheiner also was recognized in July with the first-ever Conroe/ Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce ATHENA Leadership Award in recognition of her professional excellence, community service and leadership in assisting other women in their professional development
