Foreign-Trade Zone 265, also commonly known as the Conroe Park North General Purpose Zone, is a designated customs-friendly area in Conroe, TX. Within this zone, located in Conroe Park North Commerce Park, imported goods and cargo can be stored, processed, or re-exported without incurring customs duties. This customs-free status continues until which time the goods enter U.S. commerce. This powerful economic solution is supported by the Conroe Economic Development Council. 

FTZ 265 Establishment and Operation 

Conroe FTZ 265 was established in 2005 when Conroe, TX, was granted FTZ status. In 2020, FTZ was expanded to cover all of Conroe Park North, a vibrant commerce and industrial park that is home to several businesses and a variety of industries. 

The City of Conroe has contracted with the Trade Development Company, L.L.C., to be the FTZ 265’s zone administrator. The Conroe Economic Development Council works closely with the City of Conroe to ensure that FTZ 265 helps businesses, both new and existing, to take advantage of FTZ benefits by providing cost savings and ensuring more efficient import/export capabilities.
