Valencia Alasmar

Valencia joined the City of Conroe in October 2020 and brings over 20 years of experience supporting senior leadership in fast-paced, high-demand environments. She is known for her professionalism, strong judgment, and ability to manage complex administrative operations with efficiency and discretion.

In her role with the Conroe Economic Development Council, Valencia provides comprehensive executive and administrative support, coordinating board activities, managing departmental operations, and serving as a key point of contact for clients, business prospects, and community stakeholders. Her strengths in organization, communication, and cross-functional coordination contribute to the success of strategic initiatives and daily operations alike.

Valencia is a member of the Council for Community and Economic Research and remains actively engaged in professional and community-based initiatives. She is passionate about giving back and is dedicated to supporting individuals in the community, including those impacted by substance use, through her involvement in peer support and counseling-related efforts. She brings a people-centered approach to her work, grounded in empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
