Jennifer joined the CEDC in November 1997 as the Administrative Assistant. After seven years in that position, she was promoted to Research Specialist where she was responsible for all of the research for the department as well as organizing the Annual Allies Day event. As Associate Director, Jennifer’s main focus is creating a retention program where she builds relationships with local industries and assists them with expansion projects, available financial incentives, workforce needs, mobility issues, etc. She organizes the annual Conroe Job Fair that not only connects area companies with job seekers but also provides a number of scholarships to Lone Star College. She is a Certified Business Retention Expansion Coordinator (BREC) and is a graduate of both OU Economic Development Institute (EDI) and Leadership Montgomery County (LMC).

Jennifer is a member of the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC), Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC) and Business Retention Expansion International (BREI). She is also a member of the Montgomery County Fair Association where she serves on the gate committee.

Jennifer lives in Montgomery with her husband, Keith, who is an E/O with the Houston Fire Department. They have one son, Ben, who lives in North Carolina with his wife and two children. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys traveling, gardening, genealogy research, spending time with friends and family but most importantly spoiling her two grandbabies, Ellie & Teddy.
