Pipeline Packaging (formerly Sooner Container) purchased an additional 10 acres in Conroe Park North for an expansion project and are currently under construction.  They will be consolidating their Houston location to Conroe with this expansion.  The project will involve a capital investment of $9.2M and the addition of 10 new employees.

Old Dominion is under construction on a new service center for its motor freight business on 25 acres in Conroe Park North. The service center will be a 32 door freight dock with 32,500 square feet of dock area and 5,360 square feet of office space.  The project will involve a capital investment of $9.5M and will employ 87 people.

FedEx Freight just opened a new 78,000 square foot distribution center on 45 acres in Conroe Park North. The center created 96 full-time jobs and more than 30 part-time jobs. According to a statement from the company, the site was chosen because of its ease of access to major highways, proximity to customers, and a strong local community workforce.

Bauer-Pileco is a provider of foundation equipment and support to the foundation construction industry.  The company built a 78,774 square foot facility on an 18.6 acre site in Conroe Park North for the company’s new North American headquarters. The new location has three stories of office, warehouse, and service building space.

Memstar USA, part of Citic Environmental, a China-based company that makes reverse osmosis membrane equipment used in water treatment facilities and desalination plants, built a manufacturing plant in Conroe Park North. The plant will employ up to 80 at full ramp up.

Airgas completed a 15,000 square foot warehouse/shop facility in Conroe Park North that will employ 15 people to service customers in the area.

Galdisa USA is an affiliate of Galdisa Mexico dedicated to the commercialization of nuts, dried fruits, and spices for the US food industry. The company specializes in supplying peanuts, pumpkin seeds, hibiscus flower, broad beans, and chickpeas. Gladisa USA built a new 46,000 square foot peanut processing facility on Pollok Drive in Conroe Park North.

ICOTEX (Industrial Components of Texas, LLC) has opened its new 71,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution center in Conroe Park North. The plant is a joint venture between Germany-based Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corp and Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. Parts and components for Mitsubishi’s forklift trucks and Jungheinrich’s warehouse equipment are being made at the plant. Once built, the parts are trucked to Mitsubishi’s forklift plant in Houston. At the current time, only about 20 people work in the plant. As production increases, about 80 people are expected to be hired to work in the facility. The production and employee increase are both expected to take place within a year.
